 Music by folk artist Alvin Madison, Cranford rock musician and animated film maker Storm (of Burff),  composer and jazz musician from New York City Joe Gallant,   Garwood resident folk songwriter, guitarist, and painter, Wooden Thomas, and Jazz guitarist Mike Tarnofsky of Westfield.

 Monica read a third chapter from her novel-in-progress, “Shalimar Jones.”

 Monica says about the I Ching readings: 

“I have been a student of the  ancient Chinese text known as the I Ching (pronounced Ee Cheeng’) or ‘Book of Changes’ since 1977. It is called a book of divination, but I think of it as a guide through life’s indecisive moments and confusing situations. The seeker asks a question, stating the outcome he would like, and using coins instead of cards or runes, and referring to the book, there is an answer, advice on a best course of action.  The process takes a few short minutes, and I like to follow up with a further study in my many book interpretations and a thoughtful consideration of the question and answer. I can later counsel the querent by phone, in person, by letter, or via email.”
